Harvest Market Natural Foods

A large assortment of healthful and nourishing foods, nutritional supplements, and associated goods was the goal when Harvest Market opened its doors in 1995 in Hockessin and the neighboring villages. Now at their third site, they have grown to provide one of the region’s finest choices of natural foods—or what their great-grandparents referred to as “food.” A year later, they established Harvest Market Kitchen, which serves soups, salads, sandwiches, side dishes, baked goods, and more cooked from scratch using the greatest quality ingredients they can find. A great post.

Unlike other markets, Harvest Market Natural Foods adheres to strict product specifications. In common with many other privately owned natural foods companies, they do not use artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives in their goods. As a company, they have always aimed to offer our consumers the broadest possible selection of organically grown items. Consumers highly value locally produced and fairly traded goods.

In response to the extensive presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the United States food supply, Harvest Market Natural Foods has indicated that it would no longer provide new goods containing components obtained from trans-species genetic modification (i.e., GMOs). Additionally, suppose non-GMO equivalents are found and adopted. In that case, any present items containing at-risk ingredients will be phased out over time as they become available.

Harvest Market Natural Foods is devoted to assisting small and medium-sized farmers and producers in the community. Fresh, nutrient-dense foods grown on small, family-owned, and run farms are the greatest health-promoting foods available. In addition, purchasing from local farmers and producers keeps your food money moving in their area, where they may be used to support their neighbors’ businesses. It also benefits the environment by lowering the number of fossil fuels required for transportation and preventing the growth of agriculture in the process. Next Blog Post >>>

Organic milk and cheese from grass-fed cows, eggs from free-range hens, beef kept on pasture, honey from healthy bee colonies. In addition, a seasonally changing kaleidoscope of fruit is available at Harvest Market, which is located within 100 miles of the dairy farm.
